When i was a kid my mom would always comb my hair and put nice little flowery clips and bows in. Even when it was a ponytail she never just used the plain bands..always something sparkly (granted it was the 80’s) and girly. My hair used to be pin straight and down to my bum:

Anyway, every day she’d drop me and my sister off to school looking like a porcelain dolls and then pick us up with my sister looking like a doll and me looking like a doll that got caught in a tornado. Never been one to take care of my hair.

I bring this up because today is the kind of day where i wish i could just shave my head. Would that be a good look for me? Hairless? I need a haircut desperately but if i go now i’ll seriously leave with a pixie cut, which from past experience is NOT a good look, although it was really really simple and never got in my way.
So…instead i’ll just bitch and pull this mane into a bun and try to forget about it. It’s a querulous kind of day…

So, working out is supposed to be a good thing.
You get healthy, it gives you energy, you get fit etc etc…

Why the hell is it that since I’ve started to go to the gym i feel exhausted all the time?? I thought i’d be energetic!

Sigh…
